If the fishing turns on like crazy you better watch out That is exactly how that went down! When I got to the island I was slaying them and before you knew it I was trying to run underwater to get back to the access! Never heard a horn at all. I can only imagine at night how that could turn out. It was the middle of the afternoon when it happened to me. "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!

I tried once to navigate that cane jungle on that bank. I forced my way through to the gravel road and walked back to the access. Not a good out either.

I was scrambling across Rim Shoals when the water started coming up and I said to a guy "hey the water is coming up". He said "No it's not I didn't hear a horn" I told him you can't hear it at Rim but he didn't believe me. Gary had to go get him off the island a while later.
laker67 Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Lucky that he had somewhere to go that stayed above the water level. Tailwaters can be dangerous. snagged in outlet 3 1
