Anybody out there practicing for next Saturday's FLW?

Next Saturday is the FLW Phoenix division tourney, one day affair out of KC.  Buddy of mine saw a rig in the Eagle Rock lot yesterday so somebody was out there.  Makes me wonder if there are any boats on the lake today.  Ought to be a good day to be throwing a Wart, snow, 15 MPH north wind, 10 degrees, those big bass will be all over that Wart!  😄

You know that we don’t all have the same number of cards in our decks don’t you?  That’s 9° warmer than at my house.  I just brought about 3 days supply of stove wood up to the back porch.  That was enough time outside for me.

I got tired of the boredom on my treadmill so I walked down in the MO River bottoms yesterday.  3 miles in the snow.  Wind was whippin but once I got going it wasn't bad.  Wouldn't fish in it though.  It's 0 here today and I plan to do it again.  You ever been on treadmill for 35 minutes only to look at the timer and it says 3 minutes???😂

We have a TV in our exercise room. Sure helps pass the time on that stationary bike!

I watch stuff on a tablet but time just seems to drag on a treadmill or stationary bike.  Use it or lose it though.

Yeah I hate the treadmill, I will go to the local workout center and get on that treadmill to warm up, I try to get one that is front of a TV.  Even so, time drags on and I'll set goals for myself like stay on the treadmill until the commercials are over - that'll get you another 5 minutes.  

Going for a walk sounds good, it is snowing right now, haven't seen a vehicle or pedestrian yet out on the street.

I was reminded of how many rabbits we used to shoot in the bottoms when I was young.  It’s all wooded but there were tracks everywhere.  Most people would never see it as good rabbit hunting area.

Heat wave here, the temp has doubled.  It is now +2°.  I hope it gets better so I can get the boat to the carpet shop next week.

I want to get my trailer hubs done but the shop is understaffed due to Covid infections.  I told them I could wait a couple weeks.
