Fishrman Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 Fished club tourney today and ran to aunts creek. Fished one hundred yard stretch all day. My son and I caught 4 keepers each, his weighed 11.61 and mine weighed 12.06. Caught all on jerkbait. WT was 58. Shad abundant where we were with fish chasing. Quillback, Zulu, big c and 7 others 10
curtisce Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 Wonder how many FLW boats went by and wanted to fish it😆😆 When you have 200+ boats competing for a spot sitting on a good ones sounds like a winning tactic. The answer may not lie at the bottom of a glass, but you should always check
Fishrman Posted April 19, 2021 Author Posted April 19, 2021 Seen a lot of those boats, but not one pulled in like they were wanting to get on it. Seen a lot of them going to the backs that were across from us. Really neat deal to find them like that. Just a fluke I did. Went in there Sat. evening and there they were. Still there Sun. morning. So glad it worked out. My son had a smallie that went 4.10, his biggest. That was a lot of fun. magicwormman, STLbassbuster, snagged in outlet 3 and 4 others 7
willyfish Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 That's 8 for almost 24#. Three pound average is pretty darn good if you ask me. How deep where you keeping the boat in?
Fishrman Posted April 20, 2021 Author Posted April 20, 2021 Sometime we were in 14 abs sometimes we ventured out to 30. But all of them were easy up in the water column.
cheesemaster Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 Congrats on a good day of jerk bait fishing!! How did your weights end up in your tournament?
