Break out the spinnerbaits!   A few weeks ago I had one of the best spinnerbait bites I've ever had on one of the BV lakes in the aftermath of a heavy rain that dirtied up one of the coves.  Got back out there the next day all fired up to do it again, water had cleared a bit and could not get one bite on the SB.  If I can get to the ramp tomorrow I'm going to try it again.  Dunno if the bass will move back in there again as they are in a sort of almost ready to spawn mode, but I will have to give it a try.

They usually go stick their noses in the flow. Depends on how much it shocks them, though. Sometimes takes a day or two to settle.

Be nice if it stays below 920 😬.

Let us hope.  In the meantime however, if you have some spare time, might be a good idea to tie on some marker buoys to your favorite concrete picnic tables.

Going down to the ramp after a bit to look for the little worms Bill Beck always talked about with these rains. When they come out, the largemouth go nuts on them.

I bet you have some rigs that will imitate the little worm.

Well, Bill told me he always caught those fish on a blade or a jig. But they'd be so full of those worms they'd literally be coming out their gills. That was 2011, when we were helping Leon move the dock, and watching Ish dry all his tackle.

No need to do it if they're eats blades and jigs and you're targeting bass, but if a guy just wanted to catch fish, I bet a redworm on a drop shot fished where those worms are popping out would keep a guy pretty busy.
