I caught a few fish on it and it looks likes it’s been over stretched if that makes sense. You can see it in the sun light. I’ve used it for years but this is a new spool. I wonder if it’s a bad batch. I got this on that half price sale earlier this year. Sure sounds like a bad batch. Running a ton of it, nothing unexpected. Is it from a 200yd spool, or one of the 1000yd spools? Those little spools have that featherplucking "notch" in them.

It’s not like they couldn’t have a bad batch. dtrs5kprs 1
Dutch Posted June 19, 2021 Author Posted June 19, 2021 My line was fine when I put it on but it sure didn’t last very long. I have enough for refills and will put it on tomorrow so I can go on Monday. The Yozuri won’t be here for a few more days. snagged in outlet 3 1
jdmidwest Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 I use the Pline Flouro Coated and like it well. 8 and 10 lb on my spin reels, never have failures. Keep fresh line every year, that helps too. snagged in outlet 3 1 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
