Hoped with the recent rainfall that they would be running water through the dam but that wasn't the case. Bluebird skies a little wind made it tough ran down the lake a bit and ran into an area of probably a half a mile in length where the whites were surfacing. We were on them for about an hour easily catching one most every cast

Used to see that on the Rock. Now days they're up "Maybe" for 30'seconds to a minute.  That's really a blast, thanks for posting. 

Only problem, they're like handling a porcupine.

Had a friend go up Thursday, trolling down on the lower lake they caught 9 nice hybrids 3-10#. didn't say whether they got any whites.

It’s been a long time since I got on whites surfacing.  It was always a lot of fun.  Congrats.

Used to wander into those schools on Truman occasionally.  Like you said quarter mile of surfacing fish that hit anything that moved, with an occasional hybrid in the mix.  Good times!!

Go to mile long Bridge area. They were surfacing for over 2 hours Friday night as far as you could see. Thousands of fish. Couldn't miss it.

Yes, this is the hwy 7 bridge area. They started at 5pm and continued until 8.30pm when we left to watch fireworks.
