FishnDave Posted August 16, 2021 Posted August 16, 2021 When I lived in Illinois, I used to fish the fall run when the Chinooks would run up some tributaries in southern Wisconsin. Its amazing to be standing knee deep in a small creek, and watching these giant fish bump my legs as they'd swim past. Egg-Sucking Leech patterns would get bit. Caught a Steelhead on a Muddler Minnow there during the Chinook run as well. Even caught a Coho or two outside the mouth of the creek. And a 27.5" Brown Trout, 7.5 lbs. And a big Brook Trout in the creek too! fshndoug, Johnsfolly, Quillback and 1 other 4
Deadstream Posted August 16, 2021 Posted August 16, 2021 2:30 am. On our way. This is a offshore trip, weather is perfect. Maybe to nice. Report later today, maybe somebody can teach me how to upload/download pictures. We have 10 guys going, two boats. Much trash talking last night, some money on the line. I really don't want to win, that sucker gets stuck with the lunch/bar tab. Brutal in town like Frankfort... Quillback, BilletHead and laker67 3
