Fish24/7 Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 I just saw 4 Ads for Mtn.Dew while scrolling down the page, and that was just the mtn.dew Ads. Is someone on this site selling this ad space ,and why are there so many? Any way to get rid of the Ads so I can still navigate the site without accidentally touching an Ad all the time? I have fat fingers so on a phone ,it's already hard enough .
fishinwrench Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 It's because you surf Mtn dew porn all the time. Phil and his team of moderators say so, and they are quite certain of it. Haven't you been paying attention ? 🙄

They are always just random topics like Nat Geo , Disney ... I'll be able to cope with it , as long as they don't start popping up in the middle of the screen while I'm trying to read something. I HATE that
fishinwrench Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Buicks are back ? Now that's some news I hadn't heard.
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 All the ads i see are stuff that i have recently searched on my chrome book

But on HERE (OAF) it's absolutely rediculous. Even if they monitored my keystrokes while on here it wouldn't come up with the kinda crap that's on these pages. Honestly, do any of you recall me discussing the menstrual cycle of tortoises ?

moguy1973 Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Ads are generated by the cookies stored on your computer. So whatever else you browse there is an algorithm that pulls other relevant products and places the ads on here. So if you surf some sexy lingerie for your better half you'll most likely have Victoria Secrets ads pop up on here. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

The stuff cluttering every page ON HERE has only one pattern......and the pattern is that the ads are 100% random and annoyingly crude. For the most part, not always. Right now, for instance, they are somewhat normal..... but still have nothing to do with anything I've searched or done online. And again.....for the 78th time..... it's only on here.
