Interesting!  I noticed a tear in my rubber net last time out...not sure how it happened.  Gar maybe?  Big musky?  That would be weird, since I've not caught a big musky, just small ones. 😬

And walleye don’t fight very hard either.  His teeth got tangled when he was flopping around

Makes me wonder how long I should expect the rubber or silicone bags to last before they should be replaced.  I think I got my net for X-mas 2018?  So, I've used it for ~3 seasons.  How old is your net?

Lots of things to consider that could effect the life-cycle of your net. Do you leave it in the car to experience extreme hot and cold conditions. Do you catch a lot of toothy fish. Do you drop it on rocks. Do you actually catch fish that need a net 😉.

I was going to say.  Dainty trout won't do much to them....  But those nasty things @FishnDavecatches will😂
