I bet that was one happy flathead. They love green sunnies.

I can't dance like I used to.

Looks like they're getting plenty of groceries.           Some of the bluegill were invited to a fish fry.

One last swim in Lake Crisco. 😎 Those are some real beauties.  Been a while since I fried any whole and scaled like that.  It's a good way to cook them though.  The crispy fins are the best chips ever

We've thrown flathead in ponds a few times and I don't think we've ever been able to catch them again.
