Dutch Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 150 tournament boats listed, mile high sky not great for green fish. I tied on some stingers and headed to Stockton. No one ever fishes the way I do so I have no competition. Two different times boats came up and I told them to come on through. I caught 26 specs with 18 keepers to 13 “ and 8 to 9 3/4. I missed several and lost a few. They were depth picky. A foot too shallow or a foot too deep nada. I was on the water from 9:30-2:30. It was a beautiful day except for the boat wakes from derby guys running all over the place. Daryk Campbell Sr, nomolites, Johnsfolly and 4 others 7
Skeeter ZX190 Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 Will those keepers be treated to a hot oil bath?
MrGiggles Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 I was out too, good day. First spot I hit gave up 10 keepers in less than an hour and about that many shorts. One of those days you never forget, pretty much every dip was a fish. Biggest went 13.5, but most were barely legal, between 10 and 11". grizwilson, Daryk Campbell Sr, snagged in outlet 3 and 1 other 3 1 -Austin

All I do is lose baits fishing brush though I have done fair on lay downs.

Braid and my 7' 2" Outlaw are the best I've found, and JR (the owner) is a super nice guy. If the fish are suspended above the pile, I can watch the jig fall on the graph and stop it at the top, can even watch the fish come it to it, you'll never lose a jig that way. But yesterday they were down in the pile and around the fringe, had to get in there with them and I lost a couple. wtr dogs, snagged in outlet 3, grizwilson and 2 others 5 -Austin
