I’ll use these except the heat of the summer.  Do you get slightly larger?   I ordered the storm defender by carhardt  in larger and extra large.  The large fit well but are tight at the chest with 2 layers of fleece.  The xl fit good up top with two layers but baggy in the legs.  What’s everyone’s thought?   If they were waders I’d go larger but I’ve never owned these before.

This guy has it figured out...are these Tommy Hilfigers?:

If you want something tighter...maybe these?  Looks like extra reinforcing in the knees, which is a nice feature.

I have Cabela's Guidewear bibs, and I like them, but I bought them a couple years before the sellout.  They are probably different now.

Mine don't have a barn door for your peter....so you have to get completely undressed to take a leak.   Only downside.

Did you get them a little big for winter layers?

Originally I didn't, it wasn't my intent, but they do fit better if I am bulked up with long johns and a fleece jacket.

I actually only wear them when it's raining or snowing.   The matching overcoat is sized the same.....and fits the same.  (XL in my case).

You are a bit taller than me, but otherwise pretty much the same size (I think).

I've got Cabela's Guidewear bibs and coat.  Warm stuff!  I've used them for icefishing for years, and any other cold weather fishing.  You will not get cold!

Room for layers underneath.  In winter, I usually wear a short-sleeve Tshirt, a long sleeve T-shirt, and a  hoodie under these.  But I've got the coat along with the bibs.  Are you thinking of just getting the bibs?

I have the Bass Pro Guidewear bibs and parka.  Money very well spent.  Totally wind proof, never been wet in it and my bibs do have a front zipper.  I just washed it for the first time ever.  Totally catfish slimed it on that last trip to Truman.  Had it loose in the back of the truck on the way home and when I got in the topper to unpack it reeked.  Seems to have washed and dried just fine.  Did it according to the recommendations on the goretex website.

Fully recommended.
