Found some . Caught 11 on a slider head all in the same spot.  These were the Biggest 2

Fish were in 9-11' on the bottom probably 50-60' or so from  the bank on a bottom transition  mud to rock  .soft bottom to a hard bottom. I could feel it with the rod/lure when I was on that transition. When the sun got off the water they just stopped biting ,or I spooked them .

If I picked the bait up off the bottom they wouldn't touch it. Swimming it nadda.  If I drug it they wouldn't touch it. If I shook it they wouldn't touch it. If I pointed the rod tip at the lure and then turned the reel handle just enough to nudge the bait along the bottom a few inches at a time and then let it sit ten to fifteen seconds  they ate it.

4 pound test and a 7' micro light rod was a lot of fun! Caugjt the same fish ,a small spot twice. Knew it was him cause he had swallowed somebody else's hook and had line hanging out it's mouth . Mix of spots and lm . All released.

Nice, I actually went to Big Creek for the first time this winter.  I went out for crappie. dead calm when i got there. By the time i splashed the ProCraft it was blowing 15. caught a few crappie but i hate fighting the wind with light line.    Pulled out the bass gear and had a good jig bite in conservation brush.  they were smoking that thing, some were right on the bank and some were out in 10-12.  beautiful day to be out.   I still have you number from last year, ill give you a ring next time i head that way, i still have your number saved Bryan, and i appreciate all you reports. Best ones we have for Bull keep it up
