Members SpareTime Posted January 7, 2022 Members Posted January 7, 2022 Old report, (month ish) but worth mentioning. Went out to Crystal lake, Garnett. Small lake with oddly large bass and the occasional monster crappie. The lake is thick with mosquito fish and other minnows, so lots of forage. It also gets winter and spring trout stocked. Set out the power powerbait like you're supposed to. 2 hours and nada. With 10 minutes left till I had to leave, figured might as well try for a crappie or two. Found a spot along the dam with access, tied a swimming minnow in purple/white, and instantly caught a real big trout. 3 lbs(ish), full fins, pink meat, so not a recent stock. Caught another stocker 4 casts later, and was then forced to leave. Good little lake, not much pressure. The north lake in Garnett is also good I've been told. nomolites, Quillback, Johnsfolly and 8 others 11

snagged in outlet 3 Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 Nice and thick. I appreciate that more as I have less of it😂 SpareTime and Daryk Campbell Sr 1 1
