April will be here soon.  This round of frozen moisture will prep the ground.  Meanwhile, here is a do it yourselfer that made a mushroom bucket and tells you how to grow Oysters.  Wonder if it would work around here.  Oysters are pretty tasty.

Interesting, I plan on doing/trying some morels and oysters this year myself. Mainly due to the woods are getting harder and harder for me to go looking for them. Have plenty of woods for a back yard and will try and get some started this spring

We have had success with store bought logs with shitake and oyster mushrooms. Very easy. It's been a while so have no idea on cost of the logs. We also tried putting maitake spores into oak logs and planting the logs. Didn't ever get a flush at all 😒.

Ii like this bucket deal. May have to give it a try.
