Does anyone offer any sort of hands on livescope training?  I was given one as a gift and would like to get some training on it vs. the videos on line.

I'm thinking if you went fishing with a Table Rock guide (i.e. Bill Babler) who uses Garmin stuff and go this time of year that would work.

You can also look at Mike Bakers videos on YouTube.  He has a several videos on Livescope.  He has some guests that he fishes with and at the beginning of the video he has the guest explain how they setup and use their Livescope.  So you get several different variations to adjusting the settings, etc.  You just have to go to his videos and look through them to find the Livescope info.  Usually any video where it shows him fishing with someone.

I have never used or been fishing with anyone that has one.  So I know nothing from experience.  But it seems like I learned a lot from his videos so that I know that I could operate.  And learned a few tips from each of his guests that showed how they use setup and use them.

I have had livescope for awhile now. I am by no means an expert and I'm sure it does stuff I have no idea about. But it seems like a point and shoot thing to me and you can definitely make it work. It's not like trying to read 2d sonar. after a few minutes everyone that has watched my screen understands what they are looking at with livescope.

I actually have a livescope setup question. For those that have the NON touch screen GPSMap 1022, the dial allows you to quickly scroll though option. For whatever reason I can only scroll through Gain and FWD range, I want to add Depth range to the quick scroll settings.

Should tell you in the manual if you can do it. Everyone I know is using the touch and that is all displayed right on the screen. Sorry

Bakers videos are killer and I believe some of the early scope vids have the 1022. Subscribe to his channel and ask him and he will tell you in a minute.

Wheeler had 57 pounds on a jerk bait today and said he saw everyone of them bite it.

Active Target but same forward facing deal.
