buzzbaitr Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 Hello everyone. Does anyone know the water temp way up by cricket creek?
fishinwrench Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 Average your high temps for the last 3 days. Average your lows for the last 3 days. Add those together & then divide by 2. 🙂 buzzbaitr 1
buzzbaitr Posted February 27, 2022 Author Posted February 27, 2022 I didn't know fishing required math!

Did you know that a 1/8 oz jig was heavier than a 1/16? And that in order to get a 1/8 jig to sink at the same rate you have to go 8# up in line size? Woah 😳 Mind blown.....Right? 💡 grizwilson and buzzbaitr 1 1

All line diameters are within .003 of each other......and that ain't enough to kill the magic. Nice to see your brain clicking though. 👍 Oh and before you start throwing out the sinking properties of flourocarbon.......Spare yourself, that's all BS. 🙂 vernon 1

I've never come across this before. Do you know who developed this formula?

Dutch Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 Since you don't know where the formula came from can you at least provide us with a link to it so we can look at some of the other properties that may be mentioned. grizwilson 1
buzzbaitr Posted February 28, 2022 Author Posted February 28, 2022 You guys are way beyond my fishing level. I didn't know you could even throw anything but a 1/16 Ned rig on table rock! Mind blown for sure. 😊. So back to my initial question any idea of the water temp down at cricket? Is it worth me going all the way down there? Like water temp in the mid 50s? Or should I just hang out on the main lake? magicwormman 1
