Nope, that 235 acres has been devoid of commercial hives for 3 years now.  I only keep bees at my other location currently.  Used to run 10 and 10 at both locations.  But that was too  much when C paid the first visit.  C paid the second visit and that location started tapering more.  Dad's health failed and he was unable to even go out and look for swarms or damage.  I pulled the plug trying to do 2 locations.

That being said.  I plan on putting a few swarm traps out there this weekend.  If I catch one, it will probably stay.  But, it will be self reliant.  No babying or pampering.

Been feeding Birds they said to quit and put my Chickens up. Thing is building a Chicken Tractor.

My wife said why worry no they have been here for years.

Critters are on the move.  

Cleaned a mess of crappie Tuesday evening.   Then last night I made a quick run to grab soda, beer, and smokes.   Pulled back into the driveway and was getting out of the truck when I noticed some movement between the shop and the house.  Looked closer.....SKUNK ! 

So I got back in the truck and waited as it casually sniffed around my fish cleaning table, then gingerly headed across the road where I threw the guts.   

Man, if he would have let loose a load of spew that close to our front door.....that woulda sucked !   I truly hope that he isn't going to be a frequent visitor because if so it's inevitable that Orion is gonna get the juice.   Just Great!  🙄

Keep plenty of bloody mary mix to wash him off if he does.  Makes a good excuse to hoard with sugar britches.

Oh BS!    I tried the tomato juice thing on my doberman back when I was a teenager.   Didn't freakin' work !   

Couldn't get close to that dog for 2 weeks.

The tomato juice is to make the bloody marys that keep the senses down.  Don't waste it on the dog.
