Lew’s big bass tournament

Ended up coming in 4th place in the 4th period with a 3.86 LM. Weighed in 3 fish through out the day. Was a busy day on the lake!! Now I remember why I don’t fish on the weekend.

I fished the dam area docks first thing in the morning and had a few 2 lb spots on swimbaits. Then fished the Long Creek bluff walls with big worms, jigs and swimbaits and didnt catch a thing. Boaters everywhere by 930.

It was extremely busy, and very warm. Stayed around the mid lake and Aunts Creek.

I think it was a very well ran tourney! Yes the lake got busy but it was a warm Saturday in June.

We fished mostly around KC on main lake points early then back in creeks later.  We camped at Bar M and as usual caught decent fish practicing Thursday and Friday.

 I like the way they have drawings for gift cards each period. Even if dont catch a bigger money fish, can still enter for a period draying of up to $250 in Lews/Strike King gift card. I was lucky to score a $50 one.

I think big bass was a little over 5 pounds. Same guy won 2 periods. $1000 per period and $5000 for overall
