  1. Quick turn around for the last derby of the year starting tomorrow!
  2. Went out last Saturday morning from 630-10 and skunked on a jig and topwater around 86. Went back out at night time in Beardsley from 8-11 and caught a keep LM and SM on the Nutech jig. Bite was tough but ill be back down with my brother for the 4th to give it another go.
  3. I was down there last weekend and the launch was closed. But you can call them and ask 417-779-5376
  4. My uncle and I signed up last minute for the tourney and headed down Friday night. Started off the foggy Saturday morning on secondary points around the house throwing topwater and my uncle threw a wiggle wart. He caught a couple short Kentuckys and I got nothin. After an hour or so we moved closer to the main lake and I caught a nice 2lb smallie in the flooded bushes on an underspin keitech. Once the fog lifted we headed to Spring Branch for the rest of the day where I threw an A-Rig until my arm fell off and my uncle threw a keitech. We both skunked up that way. Started Sunday morning in Beardsley again throwing topwater around docks and only caught one small Kentucky so we ran up to the Long Creek/Cricket Creek area. I chucked a spinnerbait for hours but the fishing was still slow. My uncle caught a 3.46 LM on a stump using a zoom finesse worm which was good enough for a 5th place finish from the 1-2 hour. With only an hour left to fish we pulled up on a bluff wall and on my first cast I set the NuTech Finesse Jig on a 4.01 LM which was good enough for a 3rd place finish. Thank you Bo! I talked to the overall leader at the weigh in who said the winning 5.85 fish came on a jig in the Long Creek area. Thank you to the Big Bass Tour crew for another great weekend and I look forward to the Spring 2021 event.

  6. Im the brother. Anyone looking for a co-angler to net your boat winning fish?
  7. I prefer a casting rod with a 1/8 oz Berkley Fusion19 Swimbait Jighead.
  8. Im in the market for a new Keitech rod. I mainly throw the 3.3" and 3.8" fat impacts. Was wondering if you all could help me out with some suggestions. Thanks Connor
  9. Other NY events still planned. Only 13 days away!
  10. Next event starts a week from today. Tuesday the 14th.
  11. Saw this on the MLF site https://majorleaguefishing.com/featured/strategy-moment-mcclelland-says-table-rock-could-play-from-one-end-to-the-other/
  12. Not yet but I bet that Live Target Shad would of got bit with those LM chasing top water
  13. Hello everyone. Im Connor, the younger brother of abkeenan. Brett usually takes care of our fishing report but he was not able to make it down for the 4th this year so I figured this was a good time to introduce myself and make my first post. Started off in the mornings around 6:30 am on our usual main lake point topwater spot. Right off the bat LM were coming up and chasing shad. It seemed the best way to get a bite was to wait and put your bait in the middle of the chase. Most of my fish were caught on an Evergreen SB but im sure they would of hit on whatever you prefer. The topwater bite seemed to shut off around 9am so we moved to some docks. I picked up one more nice SM on a Nutech Grass Jig before heading in with the boat traffic picking up. For the night fishing, it is in full swing like Bo said. I got out once from midnight to 1:00am and fished a row of docks in Beardsley and ended up with 2 solid LM, also on the Nutech. My uncle was with me and caught a couple K and SM on a brown worm. Thank you to everyone who shares info and here are some pics from my trip This post has been promoted to an article
