  1. My uncle and I signed up last minute for the tourney and headed down Friday night. Started off the foggy Saturday morning on secondary points around the house throwing topwater and my uncle threw a wiggle wart. He caught a couple short Kentuckys and I got nothin. After an hour or so we moved closer to the main lake and I caught a nice 2lb smallie in the flooded bushes on an underspin keitech. Once the fog lifted we headed to Spring Branch for the rest of the day where I threw an A-Rig until my arm fell off and my uncle threw a keitech. We both skunked up that way. Started Sunday mor

  10. Hello everyone. Im Connor, the younger brother of abkeenan. Brett usually takes care of our fishing report but he was not able to make it down for the 4th this year so I figured this was a good time to introduce myself and make my first post. Started off in the mornings around 6:30 am on our usual main lake point topwater spot. Right off the bat LM were coming up and chasing shad. It seemed the best way to get a bite was to wait and put your bait in the middle of the chase. Most of my fish were caught on an Evergreen SB but im sure they would of hit on whatever you prefer.
