I like cooking pork and chicken in apple cider vinegar. Some look at me weird when they are over, but when it hits their palate, they just smile. I'll have to try some apple vinegar on the pork and chicken. If you want to try something different, marinate a steak in 1/3 soy sauce, 1/3 Balsamic vinegar and 1/3 olive oil for about 8 hours then grill it. Johnsfolly, Terrierman and Ketchup 3
MOPanfisher Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 I am definitely not a big fan or tartar sauce, however every once in a while it just seems to hit the spot. Overall I would rather have malt vinegar, seafood sauce or sweet chili sauce. For most fillets that are fried I usually just stuff them innto my pie hole and eat them. For grilled fish like salmon and walleye fillets I usually make usually make sauce with soy sauce and ginger paste to paint on it. Goes pretty good on fried taters or grilled squash too.
