I'm have been asked to eat MRE's to say if they are any good or not.

Am I wrong or hasn't this study already been done for years?

I found the ones I had very palatable. Chicken ala king in particular. Did a couple back packing trips hunting in Colorado when I was a Young invincible man. We took apart the meal bag and took in just what we wanted out of it. wish I had a picture of my pack. Probably part of the reason besides my job I have back issues and four surgeries.  So, my advice to other invincible young men is to take freeze dried if you are walking and knock yourself out if you take horses which I have did twice also 😁.

Yep, sounds like they dug the old ones out that are past the expiration date and decided to "test" them on a human guinea pig to see if they are still good.

HMM! We did have pallets of them years ago wondering how long they will keep.

OK maybe. This is one of their better ideas. Got them from the Military.  I was told to eat at my own risk.

We had Tables that folded in half great for putting in a Pickup.  No we get ones that it is easier to get the Flatbed and strap them down.

MRE's what the heck we need with MRE's? We have Fast Food places say they can supply all we need.

MRE probably better nutrition than fast food.  Even the expired ones.
