dave potts Posted October 27, 2022 Author Posted October 27, 2022 Wanted to bring this back to the top as a reminder that the sale is this Saturday. Come if you can. Daryk Campbell Sr, BilletHead and fishinwrench 3
Skeeter ZX190 Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 I didn't spot one in the pictures, but are you selling a rotary vise?
dave potts Posted October 30, 2022 Author Posted October 30, 2022 Skeeter, I sold my Dyna-King privately before the sale. I had an older EZ Rotary in the sale-but of course the sale is over.
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 I'm not sure how those sales work. If UT didn't sell, does the auction company buy it out? Or do you have leftovers? Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. (me) I am the master of my unspoken words, and the slave to those that should have remained unsaid. (unknown)

Or do you have leftovers? Not sure what you mean by UT. We had a public sale and virtually everything sold. There were a few things that didn't sell and some stuff where a person would buy a box of stuff and then pull out what he wanted and leave the rest. We then arrange to have that hauled off. Incidentally, I was pleasantly surprised how well all my flytying stuff sold. Sold it all including all the cabinets and got a pretty good price on most all of it. Same for all the other fishing stuff. Hated to see it all go but I did keep 10 rods, a few reels, couple dozen fly boxes, waders, etc. Here was the shocker. I had a 2004 Ford Explorer that I bought in 2006 for $16800. It was in excellent condition and only had 46000 miles on it. It sold for $15100. So, it only cost me about a $100 a year to own it. nomolites, Johnsfolly, BilletHead and 2 others 5
