Spinning Rod/Reel question for the community

So I have a couple of the Pflueger Supreme spinning reels.  They are 35X size.  What I've noticed is that on my spinning rod when I reel in a bait (like a swimbait for example) it is creating rod tip vibration as I turn the spool which I feel is due to the rod having guides that are maybe a bit small for that size of the reel.  I was curious if anyone else has experienced this issue and if the solution is just getting a rod with a bigger 1st guide on it or if it is perhaps something else.

I am certainly not sure.. but I would look at smaller reel... try a 2500 and maybe your line is too heavy..  or try braid..

Take the reel off the rod and give the handle a good spin.   If the reel shakes back & forth then the head is out of balance.   

Line slap when casting would be more of an indicator of stripper guides that are too small.

Are both reels doing it on the same rod?  If so, I'd think it would be something with the rod.

Trying to think of where I have had rod tip vibration, can't think of it ever happening.  Might check the rod tip insert.

Reminds me of an old tube bait & swimming worm (Slider)  trick.  

Stick your forefinger down and let the line thump off of your finger every revolution while retrieving it. 

Gives the bait a sexy little dance. 😁

I was just  thinking back to when I fished spinning tackle and all the times I deliberately shook the rod tip. 

It's been a decade or more since I took a spinning rig out, but, it occurs to me that when reeling in, the bait action in the water might have more chance of causing tip movement than the line drag on the guide would. I guess that eccentric gear action or wobble/binding   in the crank would cause rod hand jiggle that would in turn cause tip movement.

Of course  the obvious- Do you have other rods you can test the reel (s) on? or another reel that you can test the rod with?
