Ok just a dumb old country boy.

Not feeling better but my wife took me for a ride.

Went to town. Two lanes of traffic. An EV decides to die.  I'm thinking someone bought this vehicle and paid a bunch for it and counted on it to be reliable.  Early part of the day 87F so not hot yet but you are setting with the New Car you was so happy to get.

She drove me almost to 73 HWY. We had not had any moisture for over a year.  Haven't had a decent snow for 12 years. My Son dug post holes 4 foot deep, no moisture.

We was driving along and seen many dead trees. Told my wife these trees can't handle the stress. Most the Trees and grass will be dead next year.

The earth has changed axis and we will just have to adjust.

That's one long dry spell.

Yelp but we are not in a Drought because Lebanon and Springfield got rain.

Only cut our grass one time to even it out about due again.

We have been watering but still losing stuff.

Bad thing is cutting Trees around the house when they die.

We are as dry here in Gravois mills as I've ever witnessed.

There are still leaves in the bottom of the ditches from when I blew them in there last October.

These little occasional sprinkles aren't cutting it.....We need RAIN !    REAL RAIN!

I'm really thinking Snow. Soaking rain will work.

I use to like dry having control what my Garden got in the way of moisture.

This is getting ridiculous.  We're just trying to keep stuff alive.

There is one good part to all of this dryness....No ticks/chiggers, and no flys or bugs.   I haven't even seen a junebug or a horsefly.  No wasps, bees, or mud daubers either.

That part is kinda cool 👍

The boards on my deck and picnic table are curling up like pretzels though.

These idiot hillbillies here are gonna burn the whole county down this weekend 😳

Yes going to have two big Fireworks shows this weekend.

My baby Sister said bunch have decided not to set them off.

Oh the Fire Department will be there. Yea I have seen them on Brush Fires. Fought many and to me it is easy to contain but now days they say we are Trained Experts stay out of the way as the fire just keeps going.

When this first started they tried telling me they couldn't save my house.  Ah BS.

Went back fired around my house and all was good. Went to the highway.  They was just standing there. I asked them about setting back fire? Oh the highway will stop it.  Kind of funny the fire came to the highway and didn't blink just kept going then I was busy taking them to catch up with the fire.

They had a fire over there that went for miles. They shut the area down.  I had never seen this before.  I drove through later and went back told them they was a bunch of idiots that the fire should of not went that far.  Guy told me that was his crew I was talking about.  I told him yes nice young crew but they was still idiots.

I got us a Drone which to me is cool if they understand just what it can do.

Great watching RADAR rain all around how can it miss. It is going around us. If it says Scatter Showers you can almost put money on no rain for here.

Figured out what is wrong with me. I have been told to stay inside in what they call neutral temperature but I was also told to stay away from Caffeine.  Not happening.

Anyway I get warm and then have Hot Flash because of my shots. It will knock my lights out.

Long as someone is around to cool me and I don't fall on something dangerous all is good.

People come from hundreds of miles away for the river and Fireworks.

They was counting on rain. No rain,  smart thing to do is have a burn ban.

We won't have a burn ban because so many are counting on Fireworks.

Oh why not burn thousands of acres maybe few homes but people still have Fireworks.

My Son can't find hay. The guy he was buying from told him 3 bales and that might cut him short. All his grain crops died, ponds drying up and his well is going dry.

My Son has 3 horses.  He don't use them he has a Stock Trailer to me the horses would be gone and I like horses.

The precip forecast shows us getting 1.16 inches over the next few days.  Camdenton is supposed to get 0.15 inches.  You folks up there are just not living right.
