ollie
If you haven't heard the news yet, you should check this out. It will either be very successful or a complete flop and never make it off the ground. Big news around here for sure. bfishn 1 "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek! Members MikeKaya
I saw the news about the massive theme park in Oklahoma, and it's got everyone talking. It's a bold move, and I'm excited to see how it unfolds. Let's hope it brings some magic to Route 66 and turns out to be a real gem! Who knows, maybe they'll soon include it in the best amusement parks usa. Let's see!
Quillback
This line from the article makes me laugh: "restaurant-quality food and beverages" I'm glad the food will meet the standard of "restaurant-quality". I really don't care if it goes in except that it will probably add even more boat traffic on Grand Lake. ness and bfishn 1
ollie
Yes, Grand will get even more crowded. I have a buddy that lives in Bernice and he told me there is a lot power land grabs going on right now. I would venture to say Vinita is looking to expand their city limits out that way as well. If you know where the turn off to the darn is off of HWY 60 to 82 that is where it will be. They just broke ground on the RV this past week I think. bfishn 1 "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek! ollie
and poof! just like that it isn't going to happen anytime soon. I figured it was a 50/50 chance but thought it might actually happen. Very doubtful now that SDC is expanding and if I remember Bicknell is on that board as well. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted October 25 Root Admin Share Posted October 25 Bicknell! I hope he doesn't have anything to do with SDC. I'll ask around.
