Question for you Pomme boys. Any info greatly appreciated. My last two times down there i have seen a couple of guys trolling for crappies with their trolling motor. Very slowly in the creeks. I would like to try that. So lots of questions: How slow? Size of jig? How much line out? I dont have Livescope so finding brush for me to fish is difficult. I ususally only fish for crappies during the spawn. But I saw these boys catching some. Thought i might give it a try. Thanks for any info.

I don’t remember anyone talking about trolling jigs.  They are usually pulling Flicker Shad or Bandits.

Bandits.   Best crank bait ever made!  IMHO.

Bandits just plain catch fish….a staple

Basically any small crank bait will work at one time or another. I like Flicker Shads but have caught a ton trolling Strike King's small crankbait as well as Shad Raps. I know that in some part of the crappie universe, guys troll jigs (see it as 'long lining'). The key seems to be depth. Find a depth the fish are at and put a small-ish crankbait or lure at that depth.
