Of course it counts ... a 7-pounder (or 8 if the ".15" is actually ozs. rather than 1/100ths of a pound) caught on 4-pound line around a dock is a pretty good feat. Congrats and here's hoping you exceed all goals for 2024.

Thanks. I goofed that up it was 7 pounds 1.5 oz.  I’d have called it a 9 if it was 7# 15 oz.🤪🤪🤪🤪

Bill that is called man math and is perfectly acceptable, much like buying 3 reels on sale at Academy and saving enough to say you got 1 free. BB1 Lews for  $149.99 and an additional $20 of for using the APP. I bought 2 and had my wife buy 1 so I could save $40. Man mathing the system.
