With dates, flow conditions and distances. Follow the link I don't think snakes will bother you this month or next. I've been on the upper end a few times in midsummer and have yet to see a snake there. I believe the Snakes Of Crane Creek are a myth propagated to keep people like me from fishing there, spread by the Secret Hole Society and Me Only Angler's Association. I just went there anyway. Don't worry about them. BilletHead
ollie
Ok, I have personally tried to find access where Spring Creek enters at Bluff drive and I can tell you this, I didn't find one! Sure, there are bridges you can go down to the creek, but knowing it is private property, I wouldn't chance the tow myself. All of those bridges that I went across had no access and the ones I thought might, had a gate closed and locked by the property owner. So, my thoughts on this are, sure go ahead and take the chance if you want. Not my problem if something happens to your vehicle. Heck, maybe you will have one hellava float and come back bragging about it. Up to you obviously. You do what you want. "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek! Members Conor
I haven't done this yet but plan to scope it out if I am in the area for another reason first. It is a far drive just to look around to find it isn't practical. This isn't at the absolute top of my list for new things to see just yet but I did just do the Roubidoux Creek from Hwy M to Hwy 17 above Ft. Leonard Wood, or about 20 miles. Many say this one cannot be done either but it was great. Conor
