I know it all depends on the river and water elevation but on average in June how much of the river would I be able to run without a jet? I would like to be able too put in and run as far up river as possible and camp float/fish a day or two floating back down. Thanks How shallow is fairly shallow?
Members Jerkbait1 Posted March 18 Members Posted March 18 You will not make it with a prop even in higher water. If you don’t know river no chance advise against it. Ur screwed if prop shears off which will likely happen and river can be unforgiving

snap Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Your best option, in my opinion, is to put in at Whiten and go up as far as you can go. If you can get through the first shoals , Bliss, you are good for a few miles for sure. If you can’t get through Bliss, you can drift back to Whiten. I would also grab one of the nice gravel bars to camp, unless you need a picnic table. That way you will have a much better view of the river!!! Daryk Campbell Sr and duckalot 2
