Day 2 fishing with @Ham

Trying to get some more species for the yearly flyrod list... we hit 3 spots in about 1/2 day.

First spot, I caught Creek Chub, Green Sunfish, Rainbow Trout, Banded Sculpin, Knobfin Sculpin, Redspotted Sunfish, and Grass Pickerel.

I have fished there twice and still haven't caught a grass pickerel😒. Caught all those other species there as well but can't get an Esox to eat. Maybe a third time is the charm🤞just don't know when that will be. I've caught them in Crane creek but didn't take any pictures. I just need a photo.

Love those mini muskies...

Did you abandon your partner-in-crime in the swamp? 😟

Gotta be more to the story.

Oh sure!  Lots more to the story. :) @Ham has his own pics.  Pics I took of him on my phone I have given to him, and I don't generally share pics of others, as I don't have permission to do so.  But there's this one (We didn't stage this.... but it looks like he's trying to pet my GIANT pickerel):

That first one was just a 30 second run thru Google Magic Eraser. I let AI have a go at it when I had a couple minutes...

Odd that it put the dorsal on the wrong side... makes it a new species; hamshowsdavenewtrix esox.

I can't dance like I used to.
