That’s like 300 yds? And why would it be stacked with boats for a cicada bite anyway?

Meant Lookout to Fall Creek.  And as Phil mentioned recently, that bluff side section has been getting pounded by fly fishermen with the cicada hatch going on. In the One Cast he also mentioned how strange it was to see zero boat traffic up there on a Friday before the Memorial Day holiday.

It’s actually over a mile, and as Phil mentioned recently, that bluff side section has been getting pounded by fly fishermen with the cicada hatch going on. In the One Cast he also mentioned how strange it was to see zero boat traffic up there on a Friday before the Memorial Day holiday.

That is Lookout to Fall Creek. Not the Narrows.

I fished Roaring River on Saturday. Didn't hear or see any cicadas at all. Thought it was strange. None at my house in Republic, either.

Nothing at my house north of Springfield but they are all over Stockton lake and Bennett springs

My house is about the age of the brood. I wonder if the eggs/larva were destroyed when the neighborhood was built? I haven't bothered to check older neighborhoods in town, but RR is pretty significantly south of me. Who knows....
