Dutch Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 Jeff and I were on the water by 06:30. It was a nice morning with the temp at 71°. We headed up river at the first stop Jeff had a couple on a square bill a couple of stops later I had a keeper on a square bill. It went down hill from there. We fished almost all the way to Carrs. We stopped at Martin Hollow and I picked one up on a jig. Frustration set in and I fired up the Verado and headed down river. We hit one spot which gave up a couple then headed to Piney. In Piney we Carolina rigged and caught a few. Somewhere along the way Jeff had a keeper on a Carolina rig. We also fished School House Hollow but it wasn’t very productive. We ended up catching 14 and quit at noon. The water was 82-84° and when we quit it was 91°. By the time I got home it was 96°. I’m staying in the AC for the rest of the day.
