bobby b. Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 Was out for a couple of hours this morning. WT 76 deg. caught a number of fish mostly small, all short - LM and Spots. Pics representative of better fish. Spots were fat. All caught on a Trd hula on 1/4 head in about 10 fow on large chuck rock. Great morning to be out there - cloudy, cool temps, low humidity. Champ188 Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 Just asking ... don't you have trouble in big chunk rock with hanging up? That 1/4-ounce head seems like a lot for no more depth than you're fishing. Have you tried a 1/8 or 3/16? Or should I just be saying "nice fish!" and not be overanalyzing your methods? 😂
Quillback Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 I could see 1/4 oz on a Hula Stick. It's not as large as a Zinker, but still a decent sized piece of that dang Elaztech.
bobby b. Posted September 14, 2024 Author Posted September 14, 2024 Hardly ever hang up and if so pops out pretty easily when I get behind it. Champ188 1
