Dylan Cluver Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Heading to Lake of the O next Tuesday for a day trip with my brother and friend. What's going on up there as far as the bass go? All I can find are crappie reports. We have never fished there, our friend did, about 30 years ago. No one gripes about obese fish.
fishinwrench Posted November 15 Posted November 15 What area of the lake will you be concentrating on ?
Maverickpro201 Posted November 15 Posted November 15 We just got back from there last week. Stayed at Sportsman lodge and cabin. Put in at Coffman Ramp. Just a mile and a half away. We ate at a Mexi Restaurant one night that was recommended by the owner. Was good and reasonable. Also ate a a bar and grill with good food while we were there. Owner of the cabins is a nice person also. Fishing was good one day not so good the next. It was on and off for us.

Maverickpro201 Posted November 16 Posted November 16 Was Plastics, ned rig with beavers and jigs mostly, topwater was here and there. Thru cranks for quite a while with 2 small bass on it in 3 days of fishing. Most fish were between docks, not in front, not on the side and not behind them. DADAKOTA and snagged in outlet 3 2

Not a very productive way to catch big ones, but it's a consistent way to fill a limit. Dewayne French, snagged in outlet 3 and Dylan Cluver 2 1
