There was a Trout Farm right close. Didn't know anything about it so I looked it up on the Internet.

Nice Old Mill,Restaurant and Store.

Ok what about the Trout? Nice big fish average 3 pounds. What about price?

Over $15 a pound. If you release a fish in the fish and keep area you would be charged the cost of fish and release area which is over $260.

HMM little steap for me. I'll continue on the Niangua.

               Yep,

Did reel recovery for the men there, also Reeling and healing for the women. Plus a few years for the women casting for recovery. All of those participants men and women caught some nice fish. There is a catch and release area they fished. It was my pleasure to take some of these men and women fishing.

Rockbridge is an interesting place. I took my two sons there for a two-day trip over thirty years ago when they were just starting to fly fish. The first day we fished the catch-and-keep area and the second day the catch-and-release area. I primarily was the coach on both days. They ended up with a cooler full of fish, the cost of which is long forgotten, but the memories of their excitement remain with me.

Susie and I took the 4 youngest grandkids there last summer as their trip to Montauk with their parents resulted in a zero catch day. It was  somewhere in the range of $5.50 a pound and they each caught 4 fish a piece . The cost- a little over $200 but the smiles on everyone's faces were priceless. In comparison, my older brother and his son in law had a guide trip on an Ozark lake that ended up costing over $400 with a tip . He said it was well worth it as they caught a lot of nice fish.

Kind of like me use to go on High Fence hunts in the off season. With a group.
