All of my guide trips have been in rivers, estuaries and near shore.   I don’t know the good tides or the river so I rely on them for “access”.

Your pretty much helpless in the salt unless you know tides, and have a boat to get to where the fish will be when the tide moves. You can bridge or pier fish, but that is a snore.
