When I’ve gone up we’ve checked our insulated boxes of frozen fish as luggage and shipped our clothes and rods, etc. home via UPS. Works great actually, but that is flying out of Anchorage. Back when I went, you could pack a cooler with dry ice and fly them back with you for a nominal fee. But that was before airlines started charging by the ounce for luggage. Overnight freight is not cheap from Alaska. I didn't go this year so I got mine from a friend who is a commercial fishermen at Bristol Bay. He lives in Rolla. snagged in outlet 3 1
