Anyone fishing them on the Rock"

I'm watching the Elite tourney on Santee Cooper this morning and leader Chris Johnston is whacking them with a Coike.  He has only one or two of them and went in the water to retrieve one that was hung up.

They are hard to find according to Johnston, at least the version he is using.

Coverage on FOX is pretty good, they run until 2 PM.

Jeff I haven’t tried one yet but I’ve found some on the whatnot app on some late night auctions.  Looking forward to trying one

If you are going to skin hook, I would use the baitkeeper I once used to keeper nightcrawlers from bunching. I have been using them and a couple different versions for a while on TR. They work well

6th Sense version is what Johnston and Cook are using.  Both of them are sponsored by 6th Sense, but yet apparently only have one on hand.  Johnston went in the water yesterday to retrieve his, Cook was hung up this morning back under a dock and spent maybe 10 minutes trying to get it, finally gave up on it.

10 lb. lead for Chris Johnston, looks like he'll win it.

I had to watch the attached video.   They look useful.
