crappie with pics

Caught 15 - 18 today.  8-12 fow on 1/16oz and 1/8oz jigs.  4 lb test.  Some nice fish.  The ones in the pic went in the freezer.  Hard to line up and keep in the pic when they are flopping.  tried to line them up with the scale, frustrating.  These are 13" to 15.5".   I have a special trick to encourage the larger crappie.  The last couple of years they have been running smaller.  Nice to see a healthy population of crappie.  Also picked up some bass.

At least computer nerds can be useful at times, I have yet to find a use for golfers.  With the possible exception that it reduces the number of people fishing.  And I am incorrigible when it comes to sensitivity training.  I am the good bad example.

Hmmm.  Sounds like we've got something in common there.

I once attended a mandatory two day personnel seminar that everyone hated immensely.

When we were breaking for lunch on the first day, the instructor took me aside and told me that if I would agree to not come back after lunch, he'd happily just mail me my certificate for having completed the training.

I guess some people are just adverse to good old objective input.

Nonetheless, I couldn't help but feel a little sorry for all of those people in attendance that missed out on all of the other really cool stuff that I had to say!

Played golf that afternoon and went fishing the next day.

Best training ever!

And you're right - there is no purposeful or practical use for golfers.

Sorry Vernon, I STRONGLY DISAGREE.  When golfers are on my course the geese have "no safe haven" , left, right, fairway, green and sometimes my back yard.  I see it as a valuable service provided to our community !!!!!!!

Good point.

And as long as I ain't aiming at 'em there's a decent chance I'll nail one or two!

Thank you for that - my self esteem and sense of self worth just improved exponentially!

You AIM ???  You've got to learn to just grip it and rip AT it, or the ground! 😂

Well, I use the term "aim" pretty loosely.

"Point" might be a little better description although in reality just facing in the general direction is pretty much what I'm really striving for.

Not that it ever seems to matter all that much but I figure, hey, everybody has to have goals!
