  1. Sorry Wrench, it was on a 6up, no switch or harness. Make me an offer?
  2. Throttle/gearshift control box with cables for 60's vintage Johnson outboard. $100, I can text pic if interested.
  3. Panther 100 electric steering for kicker motor. Steer your kicker from anywhere on boat. Cabelas list for $399, I'll take $150, good working condition. Can't get pic to load, I can text pic if interested.
  4. First of all, thanks to everyone that has posted info on OAF, it has helped this flatland transplant immensely! Put in at PC about 11:00 this morning, started looking for Shad balls with some Stripers lingering, wasn't long and we came across some. Flatlines with some brood minnows from HLS and an 11 lb. Striper. That may not be much to some, but for me, being the first time to try, it made a very successful day. It wasn't luck, it was from all the post and info from this forum that made it happen, luv this website. Picture was not worth posting, I think we were to excited.
  5. My fishing buddy and I are in. We prefer the 5th-7th. Please send pm so we can set up confirmation and lodging.
  6. I found a newer boat and need to get this one gone. It's been a very reliable unit for the last ten years. It is lake ready. Pictures and more info on Craigslist link.http://fayar.craigslist.org/boa/5877438754.html
  7. This brings back fond memories, I lived on the Yellowstone in Columbus for 10 years. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Definately a hassle, no net that big, kinda just scooped him into boat, it broke the flicker minnow clean in half. They have an attitude both out and in the boat! Reminded me of a big Tiger Musky.
  9. I use my kicker for pushing, but use my electric/autopilot for steering. Works great in the wind. Frees me up to fish instead of constant vigilance driving.
  10. Wednesday 8-12-15. This lake is new to me so I spend a lot of time exploring, trolling, this Gar woke us up from a relaxing slow ride between points 8 & 9, quite exciting for two Nebraska boys, never caught one before, these fish really put up a show, jumping and skipping across the water. Longest fish(48") I've ever boated, no net big enough on this boat. This was my buddy's biggest lifetime fish. Water was 84-85 degrees, caught 2 Smallmouth almost as small as our lures, mainly scouting for Walleye. I need you help Tanderson! Gar measured and released.
  11. As a scuba divemaster I have made 100's of dives in fresh and saltwater. It is more common than not to find a spiderweb of mono line. I always carry a sharp knife in case of getting caught up in it. Because of a first hand view of this maze of line, I always retrieve any line I snag onto while fishing, from the shore or boat. What's amazing is that over the years I have recovered numerous lures and a couple rods and reels that were attached to the line I've snagged. I'm all for everyone to remove all the stray line they find, as it only accumulates more and more, and up to the fishermen to help control it.
