So I went Tuesday evening and tried the ned, super fluke and wiggle wart. Caught 1 on a super fluke right up against the bank and a few more on a wiggle wart including a walleye and a crappie. They were on the medium steep banks, not sure how else to say that. The wiggle wart was the best by far.

Did you catch them on the Ned of crank? What crank were you using?

So I fished for the first time around Diamond City and did not do very well. I fished it like I do on Table Rock this time of year and that was not good (small swimbaits and grubs). Any suggestions?

What has been working up in the Trophy area has been 1/50oz jig under a float or a 1/16oz jig without the float when the water is slow or off. If the generators are running more just up your jig weight so 3/32 or 1/8. Down below Fall Creek dragging worms on the bottom has been the best. The last couple days the Corp has been running half a generator in the morning and the around 1pm turning it up to around 3 generators.

My father-in-law and I got out on Friday (sorry report is late) and caught a few. Still catching them on the 1/4oz jighead with the little swimbait. I did catch one nice smallmouth in the back of a little pocket but the rest were on secondary points keeping the boat in 25-30 foot of water.

My dad and I got out for a couple of hours today. We fished the main lake area throwing 2.8 Keitech's on a 1/4oz jig head. I kept the boat in 30ish feet and cast up towards the bank. Caught mostly k's but also caught smallies and 1 largemouth. The water is super clear. I was watching the fish chasing my swimbait a least 15ft down.

You are right about that!

I fished yesterday for about an hour and a half from Andy's house to the bottom of the narrow. I wanted to throw big streamers so I took my 8wt with 150 grain sink tip line and tied on a Galloups articulated monkey, molted color. Within the first 4 casts I had on small rainbow pretty much right behind Andy's on the bluff side. I had a lot of follows but nothing else until the top of the narrow which was a rainbow about 17in. There were 1.5 generators running which for me is perfect flow and water level for throwing big streamers.

Fished today for about 3 hours. Fished in the trophy area from Trophy Run down to the narrows and caught them pretty good there on a cerise (pink) micro jig about 5 feet under a float. Also caught a few in the same area on apricot supreme McFly foam eggs dragging them on the bottom. After that I moved down to the flat just below short creek and caught them on a salmon/pink Trout Magnet on a 1/50th oz jig head again about 5-6 feet under a float.

I have never fished for stripers and would appreciate some advice or tips. Probably going to be fishing for them more this winter.

I like it! I think that it would be great if you would allow wading. I've always wanted to participate in a wade fishing tournament like that.

I went today and long creek was full of trash! I didn't even try to fish there I just fished a little in cricket creek and caught some.
-
The water temp at long creek was around 50 but thats at the opposite end of the lake from the james.

Nice DD! Same place right? It was swarming with boats. To many for me thats why we moved to the confluence of the two creeks, no one within about 300 yards.
