  1. Thought you folks might like this.
  2. I’ve not seen red bug in 4-8ft. They make it in the deep version. I think the deeper diving bill gets hung up more in shallow water and the deflection is different. It’s slower and not as erratic. I like fishing stained water and that red bug is a great color for stained water. I use a Molix Sculpo for shallower water. It’s an excellent bait. If you can find one.
  3. In the white river when the water has a little color. Yes
  4. Blue Bandit in the McStick.
  5. I like the red bug but I wish they would make the 4-8ft model in that color.
  6. I have a brand new 7ft 3 casting rod I want to trade for a equal value spinning rod. These retail for around $100. Let me know if you are interested. Thank you.
  7. That stinks to hear. I love the weather this time of year. Great weather/Terrible fishing.
  8. As Quil mentioned a drop shot would be perfect. You can throw it in the middle of them and slowly reel it back keeping it at the right depth as long as possible. I personally throw a Zoom Fluke in Glimmer Blue in that situation a lot. It works well. It slowly falls through the water column. The fish will let you know what rate of fall they prefer. Nice report!
  9. Are they skipping fall pattern or not quite into it?
  10. I throw the flash mob jr. It’s light weight and I put the small kietechs on it. It works pretty well.
  11. Don’t forget the Fluke, small swimbaits and drop shot as well. If water is still in the 60s that Fluke should produce. If they are suspended the other 2 will work.
  12. Saw several Striper boats between 12 bridge and the island Saturday. Not sure they caught any. Nice job.
  13. Well. Didn’t do as good as I hoped. Finish 38th out of 69. Had 7.05 Saturday and 5.80 on Sunday. It was tough. I think the good bags came off the jig. I caught my best 2 with a jig but it was few and far between. I used a drop shot to fill my limit both days. Tons of fish are available on the DS. Unfortunately not a lot of quality using it. Rodger Taylor won with 22lbs. Congrats to him. Justin Hoffman caught a 7.57 lb Hammer for big bass. Rocky Branch to the Dam area produced the better bags this weekend. Had a great time and it was nice not to worry about my boat making it back. Ha.
  14. I didn’t know you liked spinnerbaits. 😁
  15. Good looking boat!
  16. Was on Beaver Friday afternoon. Caught around 12-15 fish with Fluke and drop shot. 4 being keeper KY. The ultrex held me on my spot to catch 3 on the same drop. I love that trolling motor.
  17. Yikes.
  18. I’m more excited about the Ultrex than anything. They are awesome!!
  19. I came out of a 20i. It did the same thing. Appreciate the heads up though.
  20. After the saga I had with Hydro Tec on my last Skeeter I decided to forego another rebuild and sold it as is to a guy in Tennessee. I picked up a 15 FX21. I was not going to buy another boat without a warranty. Excited to go fishing and contribute to this forum again.
  21. They were fishing there today. Strader was on Facebook live broadcasting from there. I think it was for some contest winners. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
  22. It seems like when you are fun fishing and not using a net everything gets in the boat. Nice job!
  23. Making fun of new Nike campaign.
  24. Share a Lunker program is doing well in Texas as well.
