I've got all my tackle lined out. I think I know which three rods I'll be pinning my hopes to. I'm very confident in the lures I'll have available.
I'm looking forward to it.
I've been know to throw the light a rigs for white bass. Road runners, grubs, jigging spoons, swimming minnows, blade baits, and tail spinners might get used as well. Hmmmmmmmmm
My wife gave up on giving me fishing related gifts years and years ago. She says that I have everything already.
IF the Bass Mafia stuff really protects your baits better, I can see why you would put the pre rap stuff in there.
I catch all my walleye randomly while bass fishing. I'm not much help there.
The lake has blues, channels, and flatheads. I would be shocked if you were not able to catch a few channel cats for dinner. Lots of people run noodles and I KNOW your kids would like that, but read the regulations carefully and keep up with ALL your noodles.
87 miles from BSL dam to Powersite dam on the upper end. The upper river is shallower and will warm faster in spring and cool faster in fall. It also tends to have more stain to the water. The lower main lake can be VERY clear, but there are always exceptions.
You should certainly be able to put your boys on some panfish like Green Sunfish and Bluegill fishing the bluff walls. I would expect you to be able to catch some smallmouth on main lake points as well.
I won't buy them anymore nor suggest anyone else do so. I'm happy that they work for you and hope they continue to do so.
It's not liking I'm struggling using the others ✌️
I appreciate your attention to detail Dave and that you are willing to try the different options, but I'm gonna throw 1/2 a Zinker 100% of the time. I'll save my silly Shadzzz for a drop shot or the garbage can.
I will use some of the other Z Man stuff other ways though.
