My Dad taught me so much about fishing. One lesson he taught me was to fish for what's biting. Don't fish for stuff out of season.

I try not to fish for Bass when water is < 40 degrees.

I must have a guilty look about me. I have been checked on the White (twice), Current, Buffalo (twice), Bull Shoals, Norfork, and Caddo River. I'll spare you my Louisiana and Texas stories.

Yeah, pretty disgusting to see "guides" up there with clients dragging baits. A) I doubt they are barbless b) I doubt they are using artificial and c) it's the part time fly bt night guys that guide < 10 times a year

24) Gafftopsail Catfish our guide has been quite bemused by my desire to catch em all, but he draws the line at micros, Lol. I think these are Super Cool and I was thrilled in case you couldn’t tell.

22) Red Drum after years of my larger frame making fish look smaller than they actually are, a fish turned the tables on me. 45 inch long x 29 inches around calculates out to roughly a 42 pounder. sight fished with a fly. Pulled the boat around. Took me well into the backing. Special Memory made.

I’m always super critical of my fly fishing abilities. I did really good on that one though. I did not Expect to get a black drum on fly.
