I have used turkey decoys along the shore line - could not determine if it helped or not. It is called a confidence decoy I think, perhaps confidence of the hunter but not the ducks. -

I love my sous vide for almost everything but steak. It seems to alter the texture some how. When I pop for kc strip I fire up my old Big Green Egg ( 18 years old & still going strong).

The wife showed me a KY-3 video clip about Phil's resort, had what looked like a serious fire. I hope it wasn't as bad as it looked.

FW - Pay attention to the wind direction, if it is from same for three days, you will not believe the fish that stack up along the shore. Back when I could still walk the rocky banks at the Bona bridge you could catch a limit hasta-pronto. I have seen people beach their boats so they could catch some. The fish wanted the jig moving in to the shore. Real fun with a fly rod and a 1/16 chart. jig. Hope for 10+mph for those three days. Try it, you will like it.

My tomatoes are the worst I have grown. Don't know what happened this year. Have some pepper plants as big as the tomatoes. Good thing I did not plan on canning any tomatoes.
