Dang it now I gotta buy a jigging rap. I fished off th3 bank last night for a bit. Had a nice meanie, what appeared to be a Kentucky, and a couple short walleye. Wish I had taken a photo of the meanie, had that light green color, mouth that didn't go past the eye and 2 or 3 faint but very visible vertical bars. The Kentucky had a great big head and not much for a body goofy looking critter.

I raised enough chickens up through my teenage years. I ain't gonna raise them nasty things again. I would rather take up making meth.

I think you should just buy rotisserie chickens from Walmart. Cheap and delicious. Buy a pellet pistol and instead of worrying about chickens, sit on the porch and plink empty cans.

Somewhere I saw a diorama of big bluegill and it was very cool.

I still often introduce my wife as "my first wife". At this point I don't have the energy or desire to train a new one. Besides all she has to do is stall and she will get everything. Don't get me wrong it hasn't been all smooth roads for us but still married to her. 31 years I think.

Have you ever been lost. Nope but sure have been turned around and confused for a while before. During a nighttime coon hunt and a couple time waking up from a woods nap and not having a dang clue where I was.

I guess I am weird or maybe just cheap. I can't think of any fish that I would get mounted. I don't want it on my wall and I don't want it hanging around a storage building later to end up in a garage sale for $5. The memory will live and die inside my head. If I had a good photo of it I would print and frame it maybe. Deer it's more about the memory. I have one of my own euro mounted and have had a few for my wife, her first and a couple subsequent larger bucks. Otherwise I just saw off the antlers and add them to a small pile I have. However it doesn't bother me if someone has every large fish deer turkey or snake they get mounted. I just always think "I could have bought a rifle or some more nicer fishing tackle for what that costs". Hmm sounds more like I am just cheap.

Amen. I took the while wedding group the night before my sons wedding last year to a Chinese buffet. It was impressive what a group of his friends can consume. I did my part to keep up along with the rest of the adult but well we just ain't as young as we used to be. For their wedding I made 50# of summer sausage and very little was left and my tiny distance runner of a Daughter in law asked for all that was left. Love that girl.

Very True. One year after seeing tons of squirrels everywhere I decided to set there and shoot squirrels. You can probably guess how that worked out. No squirrels and lots of deer out at about 75 yards. I have named this doe Cindy Lou. When I got home about dark last night she had come up to the pond just below the house. I yelled at her a few times and she finally slipped back into the brush. I think maybe my wife (or possibly my neighbor) killed her boyfriend and now she is suicidal and hoping I will end it for her.

I went to sit in wife's stand last night for some relaxing time. Doe decided to come see me, thought at one point she was gonna try to stick her head in the window. If I had been packing either my pistol or lever .357 I might have shot her, more likely I still wouldn't have. Played some "God Bless the USA" loudly on my phone for her, she came closer. Finally ended up just telling her she needed to just go away. She looked at me like I was an idiot (I know that look). She finally got bored I guess and wandered off.

I had a pair if thise socks they were toasty warm. Wonder what ever happened to them.
