I remember when of someone asked you to "take care of" a critter it was bad news for the critter. Just tell them you gave it plenty of broth and vegetables.

Last night was a good one, have grandson for the weekend, first time since March, also Zuri wanted some lap and a nice warm heating pad on my shoulder. At least the dog looks like she is fully awake. Plus later today I have someone who will take the stray mama cat and 3 of her 4 kittens, wife decided she wanted to keep one. FYI a second litter from a different stray cat, 6 of them should anyone need a boat cat. Guaranteed to live or will replace it with 2 more! Hactually since my daughter works at a vets clinic they have been wormed and had some eye drops for their goopy eyes, about 6 to 7 weeks old and eating canned and dry food, their mama had disappeared so they are available right NOW!

until such time as citizens or city council etc. Decide there is too many crimes of whichever kind is in vogue at the time and decide to have the LE do an all out effort to stop it. Policing is best done on a community level where individual citizens provide information when necesaare to solve crimes, (not crap like Bob was smoking too close to his kids), but when an entire community or citizenry won't assist what do you do. Nobody want to need LE or EMS or Fire Dept, but we do, that isn't gonna change.

My strawberries are done. Only a few blackberry canes but the are looking good. Absolutely love blueberries but have never grown any.

They accomplish a lot of things, very very few are useful or good.

Well one of you is a "good boy".

I usually have some glyhosate mixed up and it overwinter in a shed, it never kills squat in the spring, but mix up fresh from the big jug and all good to go again. Truly don't know the chemistry of why it detoxify in the dark she'd when mixed but it does. Trying to remember what the activentilators ingredient in the others i use are triclophyr or something close for remedy, have also used it mixed with dielse for cut stump treatment and even straight round up wiced with diesel, both worked well for that.

When a wide open idea is proposed such as "defund the police" it is always perceived a hundred different ways. Some will see it as shut down allnPDs and LE and use the money for making veering get along or provide a basic income for low income individuals. Others will perceive it as something else. By the time it would be written into a bill and passed into law who th heck knows what it would become, might be requiring all LE to be unarmed and wear plaid shirts and ride bicycles, and provide 40 billion dollars to fund the Missouri smallmouth alliance. Or be taken up by AOC and then all bets are off.

You are correct, I didn't look up the label until just niw. Assumed it was a generic glyohosate product. Never used any of that stuff, mostly glyohosate and some pramitol, and the various broadleaf herbicides.

I grew up on the farm, think every animal from pigs, cows, dogs cats, horses licked my face, but i licked their salt blocks so it was fair I guess. I honestly don't mind dogs licking my face, I know what they lick and just ignore the implications. Oneshots dog is more likely to catch something from him that he is from the dog.

On your private property gel free to fly or display whatever flag you want, heck fly a skull and bones or plain black flag if you want. On government whether city, county, state or fed, you play by their rules. If you display a US flag please do so correctly. Really confuse people fly multiple flags such as a confederate one, rainbow one, nra one and antifa one, keep them guessing.

You Can Contact The COE Office for Truman Lake for Clarification. If you need a number let me know. A large part of the lands on Truman are managed by and leased to the Missouri Department of Conservation so there may be some differences.

I feel you have the ability to understand what "camping" if not Google it.
-
You can access many COE managed area by boat. Simply beach it and go hunt. What you cannot do is camp there, you can only camp at designated camping areas. As for the guys who like to drive out and go 4WD though fields and accesses, they are difficult to catch, however occasionally they get stuck and they do get caught, usually expensive for them after a Violation Notice, fixing anything they tore up and a tow bill which if they are a long way it is very expensive. Best one was a guy who got stuck way back in a creek bottom, before he could get it towed out, we got one of this BIG rains and it was six weeks before he even could see his truck again. Others have called friends who gutted transmissions or shredded tires attempting to get them unstuck.

I am very picky anymore when I buy herbicide or insecticide on what container it is in and keep them in separate buildings. The year I mixed up some roundup and sprayed my rows if tomatoes for bugs will haunt me forever. The container looked exactly like the roundup jug, bad memories. Also sprayed some flowers for bugs with same stuff was a very bad year for plants at my house.

Look at the label, almost guarantee it is Glyohosate, which is the same stuff as Roundup. It is sold under a lot of brand names, Eraser is one of them, still just Basic Glyohosate usually 41%. It is a non selective herbicide, kills everything, however it does work well on grass, slightly less so on weeds unless mixed stronger and for things like locust and cedars it will kill some of it and tick off the rest. You also end up with a big dead spot around it from overspray. For brush and weeks something like Crossbow or Remedy, Clear Pasture, Grazeon, Garlon 4 etc. Is a killer. Locust, osage orange, redbud, mtuflora rose, cedar and Serecia Lespedeza it is death on.

I fund an old rusted can of 245T some years back on an old shop building, also found a paper can of Lead Arsenate. I used to spray some areas of garden and strawberries with grass killer, think it was Arrow, worked very well.

Cool, I caught a big.one many years ago from a small lake/pond on a floating rapala, caught several common carp out of pond on fly rod when I was a kid, lots of fun.

Not a very good walleye fisherman, did cat a 7.5 lber in Truman by the island at mouth of Osage River on a swim bait.

I have stayed away from St. Louis for most of my 53 years. A couple tripes for work and one trip to to the botsnocal gardens which o wouldn't mind doing again nut not right now. Drs even waneed me to go to Barnes for my Bone Marrow Transplant but I chose KU in Kansas Cory instead, partly because they are also good and I had a MIL there at the time I could stay with.

The best spaghetti squash I ever grew were olunteers that cam up in my compost pile. I let them go and grow, ended up losing a sizeable chunk of yard I culdnt mow, but got something like 40 of them off the vines. A few years ago it was acorn squash. Right now the strawberries have fired their last shot, am working on curing the tops back as they are already putting out runners. Fair amount of jam in the freezer and ate a LOT of fresh strawberries.

Do I Really Want A Boat?

I REALLY didn't want to like the remake of True Grit, but yeah I thought it was pretty good. RIPD is funny, never seen any part of the others mentioned. Until a law is passed that requires a candidate to release their tax returns (and I do think tax returns for elected officials should be made public), the President can tell them to pound sand, shouldn't be a problem for him to say that. Anyone who thinks any criminal charges will EVER be filed on the major players such as former President Obama or Hillary Clinton is living in a dream world, as mentioned they are well.covered and have plenty of people who will fall on their sword for them.
