Still think you look like a doofus when your packing open. Why carry a heavy chunk of metal around just in case? You can defend yourself with anything around you. Plenty of weapons of opportunity that are found anywhere.
No worries have 3 sheets of peg board up in my man cave. Still have some tubs but it helps a ton. Have a great time out West. If the won't eat dry move!
I'd paddle into an eddy on river left. MDC's Patrick Aceess is right there. Our bump the bridge and hop out on top. You won't go under unless you panic and flip.
Your trip is 2 weeks away...Anything can happen between now and then...but its good to have some water in that creek for a change. Hope you have a great trip.
Went to a BBQ there yesterday. Worth Fishing? Had a bunch of nice full hook up RV sites, and very nice facilities. Boat launch fee for non- residents was very reasonable. $2 per boat, extra $2 if you want to fish. Free for residents. My girls had a ball paddling their little kayaks.
Good looking food and I like your Komodo set up Tman! Might get one when my 21" Weber dies. Have been considering a Gateway Drum Smoker. Our friend in Washington, MO builds them for the guys that developed it. He says they cook great and it only takes 3-5 hours for pulled pork v 12 hours for my offset smoker. Folks have been winning allot of BBQ competitions with them.
Will dry age a rib roast. Only do that once a year but do as RPS suggests. Thawing 10 lbs of pulled pork for my buddy's Picnic tomorrow and need to make slaw for 40 in the AM. Tonight's dinner is out on Cherokee St. Hoping that they have some good authentic Mexican. Carnitas, etc. not looking for Tex Mex our what's called mex in most places.
Might be different on Sunday our Monday. Fish will probably full of crawlers out of the flooded spots. Probably 40 of them on the bottom of my pool this morning & 2 moles. get a tub of crawlers and go fish a flooded field for catfish this weekend our go.pond or lake fishing.
Tell you what. If I see some doofus packing open in a public spot, I'm leaving right then. Leave the grocery cart, leave the restaurant w/o paying, family picnic. Don't care if it is concealed. My kids won't be scared of the creepy gu
Think that flows out of Noblett Lake. Have never fished it and not sure about access. Bring basss poppers, sneaky Pete's, steamers, and some big pats Rubberlegs, some nymph and some hoppers. Should be enough stuff to catch fish if they are there. Good luck.
That place in Tulsa looks like a place where men starve;)! Kinda like the French Laundry in Napa. That Senate Soup looks good. Similar to Caldo Gallego. Would probably benefit from some good Spanish our Hungarian Paprika. Paprika works great with pork.
Sparkleminnow size 4 in olive, or brown orange..Other than that...Sneaky Petes or Blockheads dressed Sneaky Pete style. Chartruese, White, Pink, or Black. Pink works in clear water for some reason.
