  1. We had some Diet Dr Peppers in a box in the garage. They felt liquid when we brought them in to drink. Popped the top and they instantly became DDP slushies.
  2. That's how someone replies to that. "Well, I work for a porn webcam service so you are a little late to the party"
  3. Should be fine.
  4. Red shouldered hawk
  5. Gasconade has the length you need for a long float like that and a good smallmouth population. Put in at Gasconade hills resort on the upper stretch and take out at Riddle Bridge Access it’s 60 miles for 10 miles a day if you do a 6 day trip. The only issue I would see is leaving a vehicle at Riddle Bridge would be it’s sketchy and locals are known to break into vehicles left at accesses. It is a relatively short shuttle though at about a half hour.
  6. I took the dog out and then got the snow blower out to prep it for the snows later today. Saw it needed some gas so walked out to the shed to get the gas can. The wind had my nose running and my eyes watering. The snot and tears were freezing on my face. That’s when you know it’s cold.
  7. The red headed ones here are red bellied woodpeckers
  8. Wood pecker is a yellow bellied sapsucker
  9. Yellow one is an American goldfinch
  10. ...over a dock while breaking your rod. Randy Pierson did it today in the Bassmasters tourney.
  11. So with this “nature thinning the herd” idea you have here how many people are you expecting need to die? 5 million? 50 million? 100 million? Where is your balance that you think Mother Nature needs? And what about those she doesn’t kill off and are left with life long after effects from this virus? Is that thinning the herd? Or just crippling it?
  12. I was just talking to my wife about this last night when we were ordering our take out. We’ve only eaten at a sit down restaurant once during all this and it’ll be nice to do that again once I get my second shot and it’s ran through me in about 6 weeks.
  13. You think this technology would trickle down to normal sized motors? Also, is it drive by wire? I'm not seeing any steering linkage. There's a jetboat company out in Virginia that does this with their jets. They mount the outboard motor stationary and then only turn the jet nozzle. https://riverroadjetboats.com/nozzle-system.html
  14. My wife said her 2nd Pfizer shot hurt way more than the 1st. Couldn't lift her arm. Only other thing is it made her extremely tired for 3 days. I got my first one yesterday. I got the Moderna and my arm is still hurting pretty badly after about 36 hours. Made me a little tired, that's about it.
  15. Best thing since sliced bread. No need to have to remember to get my fishing license anymore Renewed today. They even sent me about 3 emails since the beginning of the year reminding me it would happen.
  16. Ok, you have to explain the bike. Did you find in the river it or is that to ride back to your tow vehicle?
  17. BRILLIANT! Watch his court fees and fines be $374,001. LOL
  18. In this situation I'd believe someone that has a lab coat on over what a boat mechanic believes. Unless you wear a lab coat when you work.
  19. It's better than the alternative of possibly ending up face down in an ICU with vent tube stuck down your throat? People feeling ill after getting this vaccine means your body is doing what it's supposed to and is building the antibodies to fight the virus.
  20. Our department at work has been cleared to have early access with the Tier 2 round of vaccines (we were Tier 3) and I am tentatively scheduled for my first one next Wed. My wife gets her 2nd tomorrow and once we are vaccinated it'll be a big weight off our shoulders as she is high risk.
  21. While peanut allergies are serious, it doesn't affect everyone, only those who are affected by the allergy. This virus has no prejudice on who it infects. The big difference between H1N1 and COVID19 is with H1N1 when you got it you knew it, and the incubation period was much shorter so they could quarantine those infected much easier. Someone with COVID could walk around asymptomatic or with mild symptoms and never know they are spreading it anyone they come in contact with. H1N1 killed ~500k people in a year compared to 2.2mill+ with COVID in 10 months. H1N1 mainly affected younger people also, where this affects everyone (to different degrees)
  22. Well if you really want to know, it's 24 because there are twelve 22nds also.
  23. Not sure what my comment had to do with math. If you want to try to beat me in a math contest give it your best shot though.
  24. No, but if all construction workers are wearing hard hats it lessens the likelihood of someone getting hurt. If everyone wears masks it lessens the likelihood of the spread of disease.
  25. Guns and things falling off shelves haven't killed over 2 million people around the world in the last 10 months either. And if it got to that point I'm sure that would be the consideration people would take into account. Besides, construction workers who work around things that may fall on their heads wear hard hats, they would be stupid not to. No different than the masks, the virus is all around us, one would be stupid not to wear a mask if it helps protect people.
